Stranding Line

The SZ stranding line is designed for high-speed production of quality fiber optic cables. Basic line components are as follows:

A Central Strength Member
Payoff provides constant tension of the strength member or core of the multilayer stranded cable.

Payoff System
Designed for reels up to 1250mm that provide uniform, minimum required tension of the stranded elements.

SZ stranding unit
Provides consistent and accurate reverse lay with minimal tension increase for a various number of turns and lay lengths.

Dual counter rotating binder
Comes equipped with common closing point assuring positive twist lock with optimum constant tension. Binder facility employs stitching technology.

Pullout capstan
A caterpillar style capstan is provided with belts constructed of permanently anti-static material. Belt pressure is adjustable according to product range and is powered by a precision brushless drive.

Tension Controlled Takeup
For finished constructions or part processed multi-layer stranded cable with float roll controlled tension regulation.

Capability to offer both SZ and ST versions.

In addition to basic configuration, various machines required for the prevention of water penetration and other special requirements can be incorporated into the line. A state of the art control system gives ultimate flexibility of the production parameters and data collection with easy-to-use operator interface.
