MCVD System

MCVD System is based on standard horizontal glass and quartz working lathe especially designed for fabrication of preforms using MCVD (modified chemical vapor deposition) process.
The system is comprised of the basic lathe with chucks, burner, temperature controls, and pyrometer, MCVD evaporator cabinet, electrical burner controls and control cabinet with computer control system. The system shall be capable of producing all types of silica-based preforms and special preforms for telecommunications applications.
